New Age considered this level of certification was essential for their brand, although it was not monitored or mandated in the sector. Mr Polites said that their owners should have, when towing their caravan, peace of mind and the chassis was the main connection between road and vehicle.
The global certifications that New Age Caravans has attained include:- ISO 90001 (management systems); ISO 3834 (welding); DIN 2303 (quality reqs); and have staff that are accredited welding specialists and engineers.
One of the specific measures noted by the company is using a robotic welder which ensures high quality consistency. The testing procedure is extremely rigorous and according to the company, exceeds the requirements but for New Age, is essential.
