It’s now less than two months to the gates opening on the 2023 Caravan Camping Holiday Supershow in Sydney. This annual event is a definite on the calendar for RV owners, buyers and enthusiasts and offers 6 full days of activity. If planning to attend, now could be time to start planning and making the necessary bookings for travel and accommodation. Buyers intent on ordering at the Sydney Caravan Supershow, may wonder how far ahead of the event should they be applying for RV loans with Jade Caravan Finance.

Sydney Caravan Supershow - Event Details
At this point, not a lot of details on the event, including ticket sales, have been released. But visitors can register to receive updates as announced. It could be expected that online ticket bookings will become available in coming weeks as the countdown clicks down.
The event will be held once again at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, in Sydney’s western suburbs from Tuesday 18th through to Sunday 23rd April. The Show opens at 9.30am each day, closing at 5pm each day except for Sunday when it closes at 4pm.
Exhibitor listings are yet to be revealed but it would be expected that all the big names in caravans, RVs, camper trailers and other recreational vehicles will be attending. Exhibitors also include suppliers of caravan and camping gear and accessories. Keep an eye out for some of the award-winning products that were announced by caravancampingsales recently.
Planning Your Stay
The show dates coincide with the final week of school holidays and the week leading up to the Anzac Day public holiday. This could put pressure on accommodation in Sydney and be incentive for those coming from regional areas or interstate to make their bookings well ahead.
Caravan owners that plan to travel to Sydney for the event, are encouraged to book a caravan park site well ahead to avoid missing out due to the school holidays. A fairly close location to Rosehill Gardens is the Discovery Parks Lane Cove holiday and caravan park.
A bit further away but a sensational location is NRMA’s Lakeside Park at Narrabeen on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Both great caravan parks in Sydney with good connecting roads to access the Sydney Caravan Supershow.
Non-caravan owners have multiple options for accommodation close-by to Rosehill in Parramatta and surrounding suburbs. The location is ideal for connection with the Sydney road network from north, south, east and west.
Parking is available on site at Rosehill Racecourse for those travelling by car and convenient public transport options are also available.
Planning Your Purchase with Finance
The Supershow is a fantastic opportunity for buyers to conveniently inspect and compare multiple options in the one location and place their order. Show organisers – the Caravan Camping Industry Association, notes that all the RV exhibitors are licensed as NSW Motor Dealers. This is significant in providing buyers with protections such as warranties and dealer guarantees and can provide confidence to purchase.

The big question mark at the moment will be around the interest rate. As we’ve seen and heard, the RBA is continuing to address high inflation with further cash rate rises. Between now and gates opening on 18 April, there will be two more RBA Board meetings.
If further increases are announced, these could flow through to the RV finance market. We will of course always be focusing on securing the cheapest caravan rates to meet the each customer’s application.
What buyers can do in advance is to request quotes and apply for pre-approved finance. Applications can be made for the purpose of getting an indication of the loan amount the buyer would be approved to borrow and to get a confirmed offer.
