Caravan Travel Inspo: Making plans and how to make them a reality with cheaper RV finance

We’ve done a number of articles on places to go in a caravan for our News and Tips. But Australia is a big country and there are always more destinations, attractions and locations to add to the inspiration list. But in order to even start thinking about mapping out a route, a caravan will be required and for many buyers that means RV finance.

Caravan travellers and holidaymakers have a wealth of choice when it comes to where to go. Some of the basic options start with staying in a holiday caravan park, free camp sites or setting up and stopping off in remote places on your own.

Choice of RV will have a bearing on where travellers may be able to go. Holiday parks are great in that they provide the services required for power, water, amenities and usually attractions for the kids.

But venture to free or remote sites and the list of must-haves on the vehicle can grow considerably. Off-road vehicles will be required to access many of the more remote areas such as throughout Western Australia. A self-sustainable set-up is also a high priority for some areas, especially if tackling the Nullarbor. If planning longer term travels, a larger, more well-equipped vehicle may be a necessity.

All these factors and must-haves may add to the price of the RV. To ensure the cost remains affordable may come down to the actual cost of the RV finance. Inspiration and aspiration meet reality at Jade Caravan Finance where we offer cheaper RV finance for caravan buyers planning visits to all types of locations. Cheaper finance may make a higher-priced, larger or better-equipped RV affordable and open up the possibilities of accessing more destinations.

Freedom and Flexibility

The rain events in eastern Australia recently and La Nina making yet a third visit to the continent in recent times, highlights the benefits of caravan travels and holidays. When the target destination is impacted by floods or simply inclement weather, caravanners can easily change plans and head in another direction. Something so easily done when booked into a hotel or other accommodation.

With the BOM announcing La Nina is once the main climate driver for eastern Australia, having options with caravan holiday and travel plans this summer season may be a very good idea. It may also mean additional equipment may be required for RV so it has the capabilities to handle conditions which may be encountered.

If extras and options are required when ordering a new caravan, speak with a Jade Caravan Finance consultant about how we may be able to incorporate those extras in the loan for the RV. Freeing up funds for those spends on the way.

For those wanting a leisurely tour through Australia, the NRMA has some great suggestions with its Sloway Route. It offers possible routes through most states and territories with stop-offs and points of interest. Big 4, Discovery Parks and NRMA are also resources to source caravan parks to stop along the way. For free camping sites, Free Camping Australia may be a useful resource.

For the truly adventurous embarking on that bucket-list around Australia tour, why not play the Nullarbor Golf Course. This is something else for golfers as the course is an 18 hole, 72 par course covering 1,365 kilms from Kalgoorlie to Ceduna and can be played in either direction. Definitely an experience to impress fellow golfers back at the home course 19th!

RV Selection

Planning where you intend to holiday or travel in an RV will have a bearing on the type of vehicle to purchase. Hybrids are especially designed with narrower width to better manage trails and tracks. Off-road models come in varying levels of capabilities. Speak with the manufacturer or dealer about where you intend to go, to ensure the vehicle being acquired is suitable to tackle the terrain.

Being independent and self-sustained while on the road can be a big plus. Consider the solar power system included in the package is sufficient to go the distances you plan to cover. Ditto on the fresh water and grey water tanks.

Longer trips can require more belongings taken along. Ensure the storage is adequate for the requirements and that the towing vehicle has the capacity to safely tow the extra weight.

RV Finance

For many caravan buyers, RV finance will be required to make those travel and holiday plans a reality. When a larger vehicle or extras are required, cheaper finance may ensure that the upgraded model remains affordable. The first step to achieving cheaper RV finance is to source the cheapest interest rate caravan loan.

Caravan loan Interest rates and in some cases the types of loans available for caravan finance vary across the banks and lenders active in the leisure market. We focus on achieving the cheapest rate and offering a fixed interest rate on our Secured Caravan Loan.

The cheaper rate means a cheaper overall loan and total investment in the RV. The fixed rate ensures that the interest rate will not be affected by changes by the RBA and lenders during the finance term. It also means the RV finance repayments remain constant.

Our caravan finance is suited to all types of new RVs including traditional, hybrid, camper trailers, mobile homes, campervans, off-road and slide-ons. So whatever vehicle is required for the trails and roads you’re inspired to travel, contact us for the finance to make that purchase.
