A rundown on events in Victoria
Expos and shows offer excellent opportunities to see the latest caravan model releases, updates, and camping and caravan accessories from large and small manufacturers and dealers in one place. The shows often cover everything you need for your caravan and camping adventures. Victoria has several significant shows throughout the year, covering Melbourne and regional areas.
Victorian Caravan, Camping and Outdoor Shows
The industry association body, Caravan Industry Association Victoria, hosted three major shows in 2015 – the Victorian Caravan Camping and Outdoor Supershow at the Melbourne Showgrounds in February, the Border Expo in Wodonga in August and the Bendigo Expo in November.
The largest by far is the Supershow, which includes hundreds of exhibitors displaying products and equipment plus seminars and entertainment covering a massive outdoor area and large indoor pavilion at Melbourne Showgrounds.
The 2016 Supershow will be held on 24-29 February, and all ticketing information can be found at the caravan show.
The Bendigo Leisurefest Expo is held in November at the Bendigo Racecourse. It features over 200 new caravans, camper trailers, campervans, motorhomes, pop tops, tent trailers, off-road vehicles, and plenty more to entertain the whole family.
Three days to satisfy the interest of the most avid fans.

The Border Caravan and Camping Expo is held in Wodonga each year in August and is the premier industry event for north-east Victoria and southern NSW. The website is highly informative, with visitor and exhibitor information, travel tips, and ticketing.
Melbourne Leisurefest
Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Victoria (CTIAV) and the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC) team up to present Melbourne Leisurefest in October at Sandown Racecourse. Now in its 9th year, this show brings together an impressive showcase of RV, camping, touring, off-road and fishing products and equipment.
This is an actual family event with activities, entertainment, and the serious stuff of checking out the latest model releases.
