We’re now in the last days before the NSW Supershow at Rosehill Gardens. As the name suggests, the NSW Supershow is a massive event for the caravan industry and a must-attend for both Sydneysiders and caravan enthusiasts from intra and interstate. Supershow Details
The NSW Supershow is held at Sydney’s Rosehill Gardens which is west of the Sydney CBD and the adjoining suburb to Parramatta. This is a very convenient location for travelling from all directions. The event will be running Tuesday 19th through to Sunday 24th April. Open 9.30am till 5pm on Tuesday to Saturday and 9am to 4pm on the Sunday.
Tickets must be purchased online at the show website and in advance. When you arrive you will need to present the e-ticket to be scanned on entry.
The convenient location means easy access to the show by road, rail or ferry.
Free parking is available onsite including disabled parking in the P3 car park.
Using public transport is a great way to travel to the show and the NSW Government is offering free train travel across the rail network from 14-26 April. Refer to NSW Transport to plan your trip.
Free shuttle buses will be operating from both the ferry wharf and Parramatta Railway Station.
Sydney has seen a massive amount of rain over March and April, a full year’s worth of average rainfall by early April! So there may be impacts to roads and some facilities that you have traditionally utilised or intend to use while in Sydney. Check ahead to avoid issues.
Continued rain thanks to La Nina is forecast through autumn, so come prepared for all weather conditions!
Buying at the Supershow
Over 260 exhibitors will be showcasing caravans, mobile homes, camper trailers plus heaps of gear, equipment, accessories and so much more at the Supershow. So it can be a great opportunity to inspect and compare models you are interested in purchasing.
If you have any concerns about purchasing from a Supershow exhibitor, the show organisers, the Caravan and Camping Industry Association (CCIA) advise that all the businesses exhibiting RVs are licensed as NSW Motor Dealers. This ensures buyers receive protection via the guarantees and the warranties applicable to dealers licensed with the Government.
This is a big show so keen buyers need to be organised. Check out the exhibitor listing and note their location at the event. If possible, review their caravan models on their website prior and even phone up to see if a specific inspection time can be arranged. This show will be busy and there may be wait times to inspect popular models.
