Support for students undertaking financial studies.

Jade Finance is proud to provide support for students undertaking tertiary studies with a $1500(AUS) scholarship as part of our support for our community. The scholarship is offered to advance the studies of either an undergraduate or master's student in the areas of commerce, finance, and business. The successful recipient will be selected by our expert panel and awarded to the applicant who submits the most impressive response to the written element of the selection criteria – Trends, changes and impacts on the finance lending sector.


  • The Jade Finance scholarship is open to university students currently enrolled at an accredited university in the fields of commerce, business, and financial studies and have completed 2 years of their course.

  • International and students studying both full-time and part-time at undergraduate or postgraduate level are eligible to apply, subject to selection criteria.

  • Award $1500 (Aus) towards the winner’s academic expenses.

  • The judging process involves the assessment of applications by a panel as appointed by Jade Finance, of professionals in the financial lending sector.

  • Each applicant must submit, in writing in 800 words or less, a response on the theme Trends, changes and impacts on the finance lending sector.

  • The closing date for applications is midnight AEST, 10 Jan 2022

  • No correspondence will be entered into at any stage during the application period or after the announcement of the winner.

  • The $1500 (Aust) award will be distributed by direct deposit to the bank account of the awardee.


The judging panel will be considering the most impressive written response to the theme: Trends, changes and impacts on the finance lending sector

The leisure sector, in particular caravanning, has seen a resurgence in recent decades as more and more people worldwide seek economic and unusual ways to holiday, adventure and live in small homes. With less emphasis on saving for the goods we want, more and more families are looking to lenders to fund their leisure.

The successful applicant will have impressive ideas and insights into how lenders should be adapting to changes in the finance markets.




  • Applicants must be either a post-graduate or undergraduate student enrolled currently at an accredited university in finance, commerce, or business studies and completed 1 year of study.

  • All students may apply, both part-time and full-time students that meet the criteria.

  • All applicants must submit a written answer of 800 words or less on the theme Trends, changes, and impacts on the financial lending sector

  • Provide information as to how they would use the $1500(AUS) prize for their studies.

  • Applications close midnight Australian eastern standard time, 10 January 2022

  • The winner judged and decided by 20 January 2022. Advised by email and phone.


  • The Jade Finance Scholarship is a private programme initiated and run by Jade Finance
  • The award is not part of, associated with or approved by any university or tertiary study institution.
  • The winning application will be judged purely on merit as deemed by the judging panel.
  • No correspondence will be entered into at any stage.
  • Announcements of the winner will be made in discussions and at the consent of the winner.
  • Applications treated as private and confidential.
  • On submitting their written response part of the application, the applicant waives any ownership rights to any original ideas and concepts in the application.
