The tandem axle Hamilton is available in two models, the 22’ front boot model and 20’6” model without the front boot. Retreat offers 8 floor plans to choose from for the Hamilton. The main variations being in either queen sized bed or two single beds; dinette and angled kitchen.
Retreat vans are built for Australian conditions, starting with the chassis which features rocker suspension, a 4” by 2” A-frame with G & S support bar, mesh on the A-frame, one piece flooring and a 2” raiser.
A solid frame structure sits atop the chassis with impressive exterior features including Stucco aluminium. The tunnel or front boot is galvanised, the wall and roof has full insulation, checker plate or ally panel sides, the grab rails are stainless steel and for comfort fly net and blinds on the winds, a roll out awning and convenient exterior picnic table are included.
Step inside from the centre door entry and you quickly appreciate the spaciousness in general and the generous super sized shower, separate toilet and conveniently placed washing machine in the en suite. Seat bases are fully upholstered, you have full height head bump, extensive storage and shelving and comfortable innerspring mattress beds.
On the electronics side, the Hamilton is equipped to cater for your requirements while away on an extended tour with 155 W solar panel, 100 amp battery and battery pack, 184 L fridge, gas/electric oven, air conditioning, range hood, LED tail lights, external marine grade speakers, entertainment centre with DVD, CD, radio, TV with digital antenna and both external and internal TV plugs.
Plumbing-wise, the pipes under the van have protection, a 95 L water tank is standard, as is a water filter, premium tapware, an external shower as well as internal, large fibreglass shower and a quality ceramic toilet.
Cooking is a pleasure with good sized kitchen with plenty of bench space and a pull-out pantry and relaxing is more than enjoyable with comfortable upholstered seating.
