The Base Station comes under the Toy Haulers category in the Jayco range and both descriptions are perfect for this home away from home. A large top end caravan with space separated from the living area to house your mountain bikes, dirt bikes, your surfboards and skis, perhaps kayaks and plenty more with drop down ramp for easy drive in and out access.
Sleeps up to eight so all the mates can come along to enjoy the fun and equipped with the Jayco Outback package, you can head off-road with ease.
Models and Floor Plans
There are two models in the Base Station Range, 21 ft and 23 ft with slightly different floor plans. Clever design includes fold down bunks to allow more room for ‘toys’ during the day and plenty of storage from end to end.
Built for Endurance
Jayco are renowned for durable, well-built vans with their signature Endurance Chassis which is lightweight, yet strong and hot dipped galvanised. The walls are Jayco’s proprietary fully insulated Tough Frame construction which is both hail and dent resistant and the company’s innovative JTech Suspension is of course standard issue.
Safety features include off-road brake magnets, electric brakes, tow secure emergency brake unit, external triple lock door and optional electronic stability control device.
Functional Interior
Inside is practical and functional with enough inclusions to make for a very comfortable trip. The centre positioned bathroom allows for easy access from both sleeping zones and includes a modern enclosed shower with an exhaust fan.
The dining area is spacious enough to cater for all aboard with comfortable, upholstered, highly durable seating. The standard inclusions kitchen is well equipped with cooktop, fridge, microwave and rangehood with optional extras available.
Two 82L water tanks, tinted double glazed windows, 120W solar panel and roof mounted air conditioning are all standard on the Base Station with Outback pack.
