The Hound Hauler is a new dog-friendly model caravan from Fantasy Caravans which includes special features to provide for dogs to travel in comfort. Australians love caravanning and love their pets. Brand new to Fantasy’s line-up, the model was only launched at the recent Mornington show. As at time of preparing this item, specifics are not yet on the company’s website. Hound Hauler Features
This new model is based on the company’s Nano model, which is a 15’6” vehicle with sleeping accommodation for two and includes an en suite bathroom. A single-axle design with composite construction, the Nano is quite a lightweight model. Standard inclusions are the rooftop solar, lithium battery inverter and 70 litre tanks for fresh and grey water.
The furry companions are catered for with both internal and external inclusions. On the outside there is a plastic ramp which can be removed and makes for easy entry inside for dogs with mobility issues and smaller breeds that can’t manage caravan steps.
Buyers have 3 size choices for the play area and kennel. This features fencing, swing open door, bins to store toys and leads and bowl holders for food and water. There are plenty of cupboards to store food and your dog’s requirements. An option is a portable stair to allow your companion easy access to the bed. The model includes an external hot and cold shower so muddy and sandy paws can be attended to after a walk.
An extra accessory which comes from Big Sky Innovations is the Inflatafence. This is an inflatable fence which can be erected outside your van to provide an area for your dog. It is not exclusive to the Hound Hauler. Caravan owners can purchase the product to include on their current vehicle.
