Millard Toura 2100 CD

Neat, Comfortable Mid-Range

Millard is one of the best-known names in Australian caravanning with over 70 years in the business. Enough time to know what Australians want in a van and they have delivered a great, well-priced package with their new look Toura.

The Toura is a versatile model in the two people range, especially in terms of broad appeal, with options from 17’6” single axle to the 22’ tandem bunk model.

Comfortable and Appealing

The Millard Toura 2100 is a full-height van and offers a very comfortable, functional and appealing van with contemporary décor, well-considered storage options and some surprising features.

In particular the kitchen, which appears to be designed by someone who actually likes to prepare meals while on the road. For a start there is a lot more bench space for food preparation than you get in most vans of this size and a good amount of storage. Equipment includes a grill, cooktop and microwave and reasonably large Dometic fridge/freezer.

Floor space in the kitchen/dining area is optimised with a tri-fold table in the two-seater dinette, making food prep more comfortable.

More pleasant surprises await in the rear-positioned bathroom which is also extremely spacious. Items of note include a separate shower cubicle, large vanity mirror, ceramic sink and a washing machine stored under the vanity bench.

Specs

In quite acceptable white ribbed aluminium sheeting with fibreglass roof, the Toura is a pleasant looking van and built to handle the tarmac with ease. Two x 95L water storage tanks, hot-dipped galvanised chassis, Cruisemaster trailing-arm independent suspension, solid drawbar, 100Ah AGM battery neatly stored in its own checkerplate box, water tanks protected and the rest of the underside neatly set out and clear to minimise damage.

On the exterior: picnic table, large front tunnel boot, good LED lighting, external power and TV connections are worth noting.

On the inside: the bedroom is set front in a streamlined layout. The bed is 1900mm x 1550mm with large windows on both sides, easy movement around the bed and a generous amount of LED reading and general lights. Once again, plenty of storage with hanging wardrobes, above bed lockers and bedside tables included. Air-conditioning is standard as you would expect.

The Millard Toura 2100 is definitely a comfortable package and well-priced to appeal to those looking to enter the market, with looks that won’t date.

A range of optional accessories and extras is available including leather upholstery.
