Winnebago is a name synonymous with motorhomes. So, when a new model is launched, you can expect lots of attention. It’s time to pay attention as a new selection of Winnebago vehicles, built in New Zealand, made their debut at the Sydney Supershow including the Odyssey 40I and 41R.
This 40I is built on a 3 litre, 4-cylinder IVECO Daily cab chassis, is 7843mm in length, and has a GVM of 5200kg. The 41R is smaller and can be driven with a standard car driving licence. The 40I has a rear placed bedroom and further sleeping facilities with front-placed peak bed. Other features include the well-equipped kitchen, separate shower and toilet and dinette, 100 litre fuel tank and power management system for the solar installation. They’ve even included 2 smart televisions!

MDC selected the Supershow to unveil their new range of the Forte SR. This is a Chinese-built range of on-road vehicles, described as entry level, but including many features as standard.
Buyers can select from 7 variations in lengths, plus single and tandem axle chassis. Power for off-grid tourers has been boosted on earlier versions with plenty of standard inclusions with battery, rooftop solar and charging facilities.
