Equipment and Features
The first thing you notice on the Commando is the distinctive colour scheme and graphics design, which is perfectly on message with the name.
Not easily seen but clearly obvious in performance, is the armoured platforms underneath, considered one of the best on the market. Heavy-duty checkerplate protection is given to everything underneath including the all-important gas lines and water tanks. Alko IRS suspension is standard as is Alko ESC and the ATS tracking system.
Other standard features on this not so standard caravan, include 120 w solar panels; large fridge; DVD player; 24” TV; air-conditioning; galvanised sheeting under the flooring; generator box and jerry can holders mounted to the A frame.
The no-nonsense looks are in contrast with the comfort inside the Commando, with an interior where function and style happily co-exist. Sleek lines with a sensible floor plan which not only creates a spacious feel but actually is spacious and easy to move around in.
The en-suite is particularly impressive with separate enclosed shower, extensive bench space and cupboards and wall-mounted front loader washing machine built it, which saves floor space.
The kitchen is well appointed with top end appliances and very workable layout. The sleeping area is quite luxurious and throughout, plenty of cupboards and storage which have been cleverly yet stylishly installed.
Outside has not been overlooked with an external shower and speakers and a BBQ with gas bayonet.
